Welcome! I’m Sarah, a Barbados born, Florida raised girl who loves to explore new places! I try to make the most of my travel opportunities whether I plan a trip solo, with a friend, or meetup with friends or family abroad. Any excuse to travel!
I hope you will feel inspired to plan trips abroad, travel solo, and see your home state with an adventurous lens.
My goal is to hit all seven continents one day and while I have been to five, there is so much of God’s beautiful creation I still want to see!
I feel so blessed to have traveled as much as I have, and I hope you feel inspired and empowered to go on your dream trips!
Some of my favorite destinations: Barbados, Faroe Islands, Fiji, South Africa, Greece, Iceland, New Zealand, Australia, San Blas Islands.
I love living in Florida and Summer is my favorite season! Yes, it’s an outdoor sauna, but I prefer it! Plus, the beach (just about any beach) is my favorite place and hot weather is best for ocean days!
I loved visiting Hawaii, road tripping in California, and enjoyed the hustle and bustle of New York City more than a few times! Finally checked the Grand Canyon off my list in recent years, and loved stopping at White Sands National Park during that USA road trip!
While I love island travel, I’m open to adventures and bucket list destinations all over the world! Here are a few of my bucket list experiences or destinations: Azores, Northern Lights, Western Australia, snorkel with Orcas in Norway, Patagonia, Easter Island, Namibia and Antarctica!
This list is constantly expanding (as I’m sure yours is too) and it is much longer than this, but this is why travel excites me so much! There seems to be an endless list of places waiting to be experienced!
What I Hope for You
I hope you feel empowered to plan your dream trips! To experience those bucket list adventures and start checking off some of the places you have have been dreaming of! Even if that means a solo trip or two.
It is also my hope that even if you can’t afford those bucket list destinations just yet, that you will look at your home state with an adventurous lens! The difference between experiences sometimes is simply the lens you are looking through. So go on local adventures, admire the flowers and views, try new restaurants and be a “tourist” for a day!
